Fountain is a small front range suburb of southeast Colorado Springs. The community boasts wonderful views of Pikes Peak and the rolling foothills, as well as numerous parks and trails, schools and easy access to more than one military base. Along with the suburbs of Security and Widefield, the town of Fountain makes up the “Fountain Valley” community.
Fountain is a nice city right outside of Fort Carson military base. Located in small city with a more rural feel, it is a growing with an ever expanding shopping area and food choices. There is not too much of a night life but is a very family friendly town. Housing affordability is better in the Fountain Valley then almost any other area of Colorado Springs.
Surrounded by nice hiking trails, fishing ponds, parks it is a nice place to put down some roots. Larger shops, dining and other activities are an easy drive from Fountain. Commuting from Fountain to Pueblo for work or North Colorado Springs is a fairly easy 30 minute drive either direction.
